In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus emphasizes the importance of prayer. He teaches us to pray sincerely, not for show, but in our inner rooms, where God sees us in secret (Matthew 6:6).  Prayer aligns our will with God’s by fostering surrender, seeking guidance, transforming desires, listening, practicing patience, and obeying His commands. Through this ongoing conversation, our hearts are shaped into vessels for His glory, purposes & our good.

The Bible tells us that God is love (1 John 4:8). His love is sacrificial, unconditional, and transformative. When we allow God’s love to flow through us, it empowers us to love others selflessly. In fact, Jesus commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31). Even our adversaries are to be loved by us. (Matthew 5:43–48)

Prayer connects us to God’s heart, and His love fuels our actions. When we’re “driven by prayer,” we seek His will, surrender our plans, and trust in His timing. And when we’re “powered by God's love,” we extend grace, forgive, and serve others with compassion.
